Costa del Sol
The Costa del Sol, situated in the south of the Iberian Peninsula in the far west of the Mediterranean, occupies 161 kilometres of Malaga coastline and naturally continues east and west into the provinces of Granada and Cádiz, which border the Province of Malaga.
Its name (which means the "Coast of Sun") is a true reflection of reality, given that its climate offers an average of 300 days of sun a year, making Malaga and its surrounding towns, such as Torremolinos, popular year-round destinations.
The capital of the province is the city of Malaga. It is well-located in the geographical centre of the province's coastline. Not only is it the meeting point for transport links between other cities, towns and villages, but it also divides the two large areas that constitute the Costa del Sol: the eastern side and the western coast, where Torremolinos and our hotel are located.
